Three-dimensional Simulation of Carbon Dioxide Reforming of Methane Over Coal Char
摘要
Abstract
Carbon dioxide reforming of methane with coal char to syngas is one of the primary technologies of the coal poly-generation and cleaning application. A three-dimensional mathematics model was developed for the reactor of methane reforming with carbon dioxide over coal char. It's on the basis of an Eulerian multiphase flow model and several chemical reaction models. Three-dimensional simulation was carried out on the labscale reactor of 12 mm. Some important parameters were obtained, such as concentration profiles, velocity profiles and H2/CO. Simulation results are according with experimental results.
