摘要
Abstract
A new domain decomposition method based on natural boundary reduction is developed forthe solution of time-dependent exterior wave problems. The two-dimensional scalar wave equation istaken as a model to illustrate the method. The governing equation is first discretized in time, leadingto time-stepping scheme, where a exterior elliptic problem has to be solved in each time step. Twoartificial boundaries are introduced. The Schwarz alternating method is proposed. The convergence ofthe algorithm is given. The contraction factor for exterior circular domain is also discussed.Numerical results are presented, which show the effectiveness of our method.关键词
