Abstract
A solids-free drilling fluid, FLO-PRO, was used in drilling the horizontal reservoir section in Ji-dong Oilfield in an effort to protect the reservoir from being damaged. FLO-PRO is a weak-gel drilling flu-id specially designed for reservoir drilling in horizontal wells. This paper discusses the technological fea-tures and field application of this fluid. FLO-PRO has been used in four onshore blocks in Jidong and the application showed that this fluid had stable performance and rheology. Good cutting carrying made it suit-able for horizontal well drilling. Furthermore, FLO-PRO is environmentally friendly.关键词
