Sustainable Development of Agricultural Scientific and
Technical Periodicals under Market Economy System

Abstract
The editing and publishing of agricultural scienti
fic and technical periodicals are not only important components of agricultural
scientific and technical enterprises, but also an important sustaining structure
s of agricultural scientific research works. Based on spot survey and incombinat
ion with literature investigation, the existing problems and facing challenges a
nd opportunities of the agricultural scientific and technical periodicals under
the market economy system are analyzed. To improve periodical quality and make f
urther progress, the following sustainable development strategies and measures are put forward based on the analysis: orienting correctly and fostering indivi dual feature of periodicals; transforming mechanism and improving postmanagement ; building up a stable young editor contingent of high quality; bringing forth n ew ideas in managing mechanism and promoting diversified economy; modernization of editing work and diversification of publishing form.关键词
