藏药砂生槐种子提取物抑菌和细胞毒活性的初步研究
Antimicrobial and Cytotoxic Activity of Extracts from Sophora moorcroftiana Seeds in Vitro
摘要
Abstract
Sophora moorcrofiiana (Wallieh) is an endemic shrub species in Tibet,China,and is a plant with a great val-ue in folk medicine. Chloroform,ethanol and distilled-water extracts of the plant were tested for antimicrobial activity u-sing the agar-well diffusion technique and for cytotoxic activity using an MTT assay in vitro. The chloroform and 95% al-cohol extracts were shown to possess a broad spectrum of a strong antimicrobial activity against all tested bacteria and the chloroform extract of S. moorcrofiiana seeds is much more effective in antimicrobial activeness. After 24 h, all crude ex-tracts significantly showed the cytotoxic activity on human stomach cancer SGC-7901 cell line in a concentration-depend-ent manner. The median lethal concentrations ( LC50) of chloroform extracts ,95% ethanol extracts ,75% ethanol extracts and distilled-water extracts in the human stomach cancer SGC-7901 cell line were found to be 4.5,1.4,1.9 and 41.7 mg/mL,respectively. The 95% ethanol extract of S. moorcroftiana seeds is much more effective than other extracts in terms of providing antiproliferative effects in the human stomach cancer SGC-7901 cell line.关键词
