Application of Solubility Parameters in the Development of High Performance Acrylic-Urethane Coatings
摘要
Abstract
In order to obtain high performance two-component acrylic polyurethane coating，a method based on molar group contribution has been proposed for estimating three solubility parameters of acrylic polymers and HDI biuret. According to the theory of solubility parameter, the suitable solvent blends are selected. In addition, the compatibility of the two components, which form the coating film, are discussed. The reason of forming "ghost image" and the basic method to get rid of it are also analyzed. In this work, the solubility parameter is considered as one of the important parameters used in the design of polymers for high performance two-component acrylic-urethane coatings. A kind of acrylic polyurethane coating with excellent performance such as good appearance and excellent physical properties etc., were manufactured based on solubility parameter theory。关键词
