Test for Cutting Process of Technology System with Magnetic Field

摘要

Abstract

In this paper, the authors researched and tested the cuttingforce and the wear of tool in technology system with magnetic field. The comparative tests on machining accuracy and surface roughness are carried out in technology system. The mechanisms of the magnetic field actting on the cutting process are discussed in this paper. The effect of magnetic field on confriction and rigidity of the technology system are tested. The results show that the wear of tool and cutting force in technology system is reduced by the magnetic field. In addition, the rigidity is improved and vibration of technology system is weakened by the magnetic field.
