Abstract
The western region development is a new strategy of the nationaleconomic construction in China and the “West-to-east Natural Gas Transmission” project is the number one engineering in the western region development. A major diameter long-distance gas transmission pipeline from Xinjiang to Shanghai will be constructed in the west-to-east natural gas transmission engineering and the internal-external coating system of the pipeline is one of basic constituent of the west-to-east natural gas transmission engineering. The quality of the coating is related to a long-term,safe and stable running of the long-distance gas transmission pipeline and the degree of optimization of coating structure is related to whether the pipeline engineering can be constructed economically and high-effectively. Therefore the techno-economic analysis of the internal and external coatings of the long-distance gas transmission pipeline is a hot spot followed with great interest by the policy-making circles and technological circles of petroleum engineering in China at present. In view of such a long-distance gas transmission pipeline, it is pointed out by the author that through making the internal coating in the pipeline, the gas flow condition is improved so as to raise pipeline throughout, guard against inwall corrosion and increase economic returns. Meanwhile the kinds of the external corrosion prevention coating and how to choose the economic and applicable external corrosion prevention coating according to the concrete conditions of the pipeline crossing regions are introduced in the paper.关键词
