摘要
Abstract
Nine male pandas between 5.5 to 16.5 years old at the Research and Conservation Center for Giant Panda in Wolong Nature Reserve were used for this study.Spermatozoa were collected by electroejaculation.The average body weight of nine males was 108.1±15KG.The testes volume was 289.4±108.6cm3.Total spermatozoa per ejaculate was 3907±2981.7×106. The sperm motility was 69.1±28.9%，speed of progression was 2.7±1.1，the percent abnormal sperm count was 39.4±32.2%，normal acrosome count was 85.8±31.2%，pH was 7.9±0.4.Three of the males already have produced offspring through natural mating. The average weight of these three males was 122.7±7.1KG.Their average testes volume was 381.7±64.7cm3.Their sperm motility was 77.3±5.8%,status was 3.0±0.5,average percentage of abnormal sperm was 18±9.6%，normal acrosome was 92.7±1.5%,pH was 8.0±0.1.Abnormalities of giant pandas' spermatozoa ware including:abnormal acrosome,tightly coiled tail,bent midpiece w/droplet,bent midpiece w/o droplet,bent tail w/droplet,bent tail w/o droplet,proximal droplet,distal droplet.关键词
