Abstract
The sterile line “Jiangnongzao No.4 A” was bred through eight years' study, its maintainer line came from the sibling line of “Jiangnongzao No.2 B”. “Jiangnongzao No.4 A” possesses apparently improved plant types and spike characters, stable sterility, strong combining ability, good flowering habit and high outcrossing setting rate. The combinations from “Jiangnongzao No.4 A” have good plant types, strong resistance and better rice quality. The key factors of sterile line breeding were analyzed, the standard and approach of sterile line breeding were put forward and discussed respectively in this paper.关键词
