Computer Simulation of Electro-Optic Characteristics of OCB Mode Liquid Crystal Display
摘要
Abstract
In this study computer simulations of transmittance-vohage characteristics of various liquid crystal mate-rials were done in optically compensated bend (OCB) mode and no-bias-bend (NBB) OCB mode. We compared NBB mode with weak anchoring alignment OCB mode and evaluated their ability to lower driving voltage. The simulation on the relationship of the splay-bend transition voltage vs. Pretilt angle was also investigated.关键词
