Application of a New Self-adaptive Median Filter in Medical Ultrasonic Images Processing
摘要
Abstract
A new self-adaptive median filter based on the median filter for medical ultrasonic images has been developed in the present paper. The filtered image is a weighted combination of four subimages obtained from median filtering the original image along four major directions. The weighting factors are obtained by using the differences between these subimages and the original image. This method possesses better characteristics of detail preservation and stronger noise reduction for images. The property of the new filter has been analyzed and the ultrasonic heart filter image having good quality has been obtained in the present paper.关键词
