摘要

Abstract

Long-chain scorpion neurotoxins consist of 60~76 amino acids crosslinked by 4 disulfide bridges, most of which can act on s odium channels of excitable cells. These long-chain neurotoxins act with differ ent modes and specificity. The amino acid sequences and gene sequences of toxins with similar function are highly conserved. All these long-chain neurotoxins s hare similar three-dimensional structures. Now more and more works have been do ne on the study of their structures, functions and structure-function relations hips. These are farely favorable not only for the understanding of action mechan ism of these toxins but also for rebuilding and utilizing these toxins.
