摘要

Abstract

A model concerning granite origin referred to as in-situ melting has been advanced in the last several years by the first author, which regards the upper crust as a close system and the granite as the result of materials within system changing from order (protolith) to disorder (melts) and finally to new order (granite with the variations of entropy. This paper gives a brief introduction of the model, and on the basis explains the various geological phenomena resulted by the melting process, including the room of batholiths, the generation of xenoliths and enclaves, the contact relations of granite bodies and their country-rocks, the formation of granite anticlines.
