Abstract
Objective To analyze the cause of peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) difficulty in tumor chemotherapy patients, and investigate the treated way in order to increase the success rate of catheterization. Methods The catheter-related difficult factors of PICC in 37 patients were analyzed and the corresponding coun-termeasures were summarized. Results Analyzing the results of the catheter inserting difficulty, we found the common causes were psychological factors, blood vessels, body position and puncture skill closely related to the technology. Conclusions A comprehensive assessment and skill PICC catheter operation could ease the painful-ness of patients and reduce the economic waste, and ensure the completion of the planned chemotherapy.关键词
