Effects of calcium on ATPase activities, lipid contents, and fatty acid compositions of plasma membrane from wheat roots were assayed under aluminum stress. The results showed that the increase of calcium concentration in the nutrient solution increased the activity of H+-ATPase and the phospholipid content, decreased the activity of Ca2+-ATPase and the galactolipid of plasma membrane.
