The Status Quo and Future of Workflow Management
摘要
Abstract
Workflow management is known as the“logistics”of information systems.It can arrange suitable people or software to perform right tasks at right time,and automate business processes.In this paper,we review the evolution of workflow management in a historical view,and show its strong impact on future information systems.Through analyzing current workflow management systems(WFMSs),we generalize two deficiencies in workflow modeling and the system architecture of current WFMSs and predict the development trend of the two main aspects of workflow management.关键词
