摘要

Abstract

A new method to prepare dark squeezed states of the motion of a trapped ion that interacts with a standing wave light field has been proposed.This method is based on modulation of the phase of the standing wave field.The dependence of the squeezed amplitude on the modulation amplitude is Investigated.Choosing the appropriate modulating amplitude,we can produce the best squeezed vibrational state of the ion and find that its generation is companied by cancellation of the emitted fluorescence.In addition,an experiment configuration about its preparation is proposed and discussed.
