Clinical value of CT-guided fine-needle percutaneous biopsy in the diagnosis of lung lesions (with 32 cases)

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the value of CT-guided fine-needle percutaneous biopsy in patients with lung lesions. Materials and Methods: CT-guided fine-needle percutaneous biopsy was performed in 32 patients with lung lesions, included 29 in lung, one at hilus, one in mediastinum and one in pleura. 21G aspirating needles and 21G puncture needles had been used to make polytopical inserting aspirations from the best-chosen level, situs, angle and depth. Results: The successful puncture rate was 100%, The positive rate was 100% with pneumothorax rate of 6%. Conclusion: CT-guided needle biopsy for chest lesions is a successful efficient and safty diagnostic method with few complications. It can provide reference of cytology, histology and etiology for clinical diagnosis and therapy and so it is suggested to be used more widely.关键词
