摘要

Abstract

ZnO co-doped with nitrogen and indium powders were prepared by nitriding indium doped ZnO, which had been synthesized by a co-precipitation method and subsequent a heat-treatment process. For ZnO, the co-doping of the N3- and In3+ ions could absorb more visible light compared to doping only with N3-. The photocatalytic activities of as-prepared samples were evaluated by decompo-sing gaseous 2-propanol into acetone under visible light irradiation. The ZnO co-doped with nitrogen and 0.5% indium showed the best photocatalytic activity.
