Determining Content of Vitamin C in Vegetable by Using Iodometry

摘要

Abstract

[Objective]The aim was to determine the content of vitamin C in local vegetable. [Method]Taking 2% oxalic acid and 10% hydrochloric, mixture of 2% oxalic acid and 4% acetic acid as extraction agent, the content of vitamin C was determined by using iodometry. [Result]The result showed that the linear range was from 5-100 mg and average recovery was 102.91% by using iodometry. [Conclusion]The method has simple, rapid, high sensitivity and other advantages.
