摘要
Abstract
［Objective］ To establish national health standard for urea in the air of workplace. ［Methods］ Occupational epidemiological investigation and sudies on the acute and chronic toxicity of urea were conducted. The available materials concerning standard setting were collected. ［Results］ LD50 for urea by intragastric administration is 8 471 mg/kg in rats. The threshold of chronic toxic effect in rats is (45.9±9.8)mg/m3. The results of determination showed that the concentrations of urea in the air of workplace were below 10 mg/m3. The adverse effects of urea in exposed workers were not found. ［Concentration］ The maximum allowable concentration(MAC) and the time-weighted average allowable concentration(TWA-AC) have been recommended 10 mg/m3,respectively.关键词
