摘要
Abstract
Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of IgY spray in treatment of vaginal candidiasis.Methods Randomized,double-blind,placebo-controlled study was conducted.A total of100 patients were met inclusion criteria and randomly assigned to receive IgY or placebo.Results 46subjects in each group completed the study.Age,duration and symptoms were not significantly different between the two treatment groups.The improvements of symptoms and signs in IgY group were better than placebo group(t=2.89,P<0.05);Treatment with IgY rrsulted in better clearance rate.of candida and clinical effects as compared with treatment with lacebo(χ~2=23.10, P<0.05; χ~2=7.39,P<0.05 respectively);The clearance rate of candida,the total efficiency rate and the cure rate were71.74%,82.61%,21.74%respectively in IgY treatment group.Conclusion The results showed IgY had definite anti-candidal activity and clinical effect,but the cure rate was too low,it should be worth exploitation.关键词
