Abstract
Partial discharge (PD) of power transformer is one of the major causes leading to power fault, and the theory of PD has been widely studied in order to avoid such accidents. This paper discusses the basic methods in PD detecting which divides into electric ones and non-electric ones, describes some relating researches and worldwide applications in this filed, and compares the mentioned methods according to four aspects of monitoring online, positioning effectively, great anti-jamming ability and big practicablity in order to forecast the development of PD detecting. It is concluded that the ultrasonic detecting method has greater potential.关键词
