摘要

Abstract

According to the current technical conditions of digital substations, it is proposed that fault directional elements be incorporated in the transformer protection device and other adjacent protection devices, for joint completion of the transformer back-up protection function by these devices which exchange their locally measured fault directional information through the generic object oriented substation event (GOOSE) network. The action strategy for transformer back-up protection on the GOOSE network is discussed under the different conditions of mis-trip of the main protection. The results show that the protection scheme proposed is characterized by its adaptability, coordination between intelligent switches and protection devices, high selectivity and short operation time.
