摘要

Abstract

Hydrogels can respond to the environmental changes by recognizing and then self-working under slight stimulation of physical and chemical environment, such as temperature, pH degree, ionic strength, electric field, magnetic field, light, pressure, etc. Tertiary amine group and double bonds,which exist in DMAEMA, can be protonated in acid medium. Its copolymers and homopolymers can be rendered pH sensitive and temperature sensitive by this property, which can be used in controlled drug release, tissue culture, energy conversion device, artificial muscles, chemical valve and bionic actuator. In this paper, based on pH, temperature and electrical sensitivity, the recent research on DMAEMA sensitive hydrogels is reviewed. At last, the applications in the fields of controlled drug release of such DMAEMA intelligent hydrogels are also presented.
