Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To observe therapeutic effect of Isotretinoin erythromycin gel in the treatment of medium and mild vulgaris acne.METHODS: 50 patients with vulgaris acne were divided into 2 groups: treatment group were treated with Isotretinoin erythromycin gel on the left face one time per night, and control group were externally treated with Viaminate vitamin E cream on the right face one time per night.The therapeutic efficacy was observed and compared after 6 weeks and 8 weeks respectively.RESULTS: The total effective rate of treatment group was 70％ and that of control group was 42％ in 6th week(P＜0.05).After 8 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of treatment group was 82％ and that of control group was 76％ (P＞0.05).After 6 weeks and 8 weeks of treatment, there were significant differences in therapeutic efficacy on inflammatory acne between treatment group and control group (P＜0.05).CONCLUSION: Isotretinoin erythromycin gel is effective and faster than Viaminate vitamin E cream in the treatment of medium and mild vulgaris acne.Isotretinoin erythromycin gel shows superior efficacy compared with Viaminate vitamin E cream for inflammatory acne.关键词
