Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To optimize the microwave-assisted extraction process of chlorogenic acid from Lonicerare japonica and to analyze the anti-oxidation function of the extract.METHODS: The extraction technology of chlorogenic acid was optimized by response surface methodology using the concentration of methanol, ratio of material to liquid and extraction time as factors and taking the absorbance of extract at 327 nm and the scavenging rate of extract for free radical as response.The anti-oxidation function of the extract was analyzed by comparing the scavenging capacity of extract against DPPH· RESULTS: The optimal extraction process was as follows: 43% menthol as solvent, the ratio of material to liquid was 40 ml·g-1, extracting for 8 min.The field of chlorogenic acid was 7.62% The scavenging capacity of extract for DPPH· was direct correlation with the content of chlorogenic acid.CONCLUSION: The optimized extraction process is stable, reasonable and feasible with high field and short extraction time.Chlorogenic acid plays a major role in the anti-oxidation of extract of L.japonica.
