摘要

Abstract

Cadmium sulphide (CdS) microcrystallites with different morphology had been prepared by microwave hydrothermal(M-H) process using cadmium chloride and sodium thiosulfate as raw materials and citric acid, ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA), hexamethylenetetramine and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) as template.The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy ( SEM ), EDS and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).The optical properties of the prepared CdS microcrystallites with varied shape were characterized by ultraviolet-vis.The results show that the spherical, flower-like and rod-like CdS crystals could be prepared using different templates, and the as-prepared products are well crystallized.Obvious blue-shift are observed in the UV-Vis absorption of CdS products.
