Abstract
A total of 179 stool samples collected from children with diarrhea were retrospectively tested for Kobuvirus genus member aichi virus by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).One sample from a 3-year-old boy was positive.The nucleotide sequence isolate was determined, analyzed and compared to known Aichi virus sequences, which turned out to be a member of genotype B.Kobuvirus/Human/FJ081021/2008/China (GU459258), wihich had 98.1％ nucleotide identidy to Qld/2008/204/Australia.This is the first detection of Aichi virus with gastroenteritis in Fujian, China.关键词
