FOGGY DAY IMAGE ENHANCEMENT METHOD BASED ON WAVELET TRANSFORM
摘要
Abstract
In this paper the threshold determination model and the defog threshold function of foggy day image are proposed in light of the feature of images taken in haze weather with low contrast and low visibility. Based on that, a new enhancement method for foggy day images based on wavelet transform is presented as well. Experimental results show that the foggy day images processed by the method in this paper have better contrast and higher degree of clarity, their visual effect is noticeably meliorated with much low image distortion.关键词
