The TN, TP and BSi in the modern sediments and with the dynamic process of nutrition evolution in the Yandonghu Lake of Wuhan

摘要

Abstract

Select a medium-sized shallow lake in the suburb of Wuhan —— the Yandonghu Lake for the study. And test the content of two core sediments of the total nitrogen(TN), total phosphorus(TP), biogenic silica(BSi) content in it. The results showed that: TN and BSi in the surface sediments of the Yandonghu Lake have risen in general, while the modem content of TP decreased. In modem times, the growth of diatoms consumed large amounts of silicon and phosphorus in the water body, which showed by the significant increase of the content of BSi and the increase of nutritional level of the Yandonghu Lake. Diatom growth and sedimentation affect to the deposition system and process of the Yandonghu Lake, which leading to the ratio and structural changes of nutrients and the silicon lake water restrictions appear.
