摘要

Abstract

The pollution of dust is severe, during cold-rolled strip process, as iron oxide scales falling off the cold-rolled strip all around, which affects worker' s health and the quality of productions. A spurt and suction technique which is used to collect iron oxide scales that fell off the cold-rolled strip surface is invented. The incompact iron oxide scale is removed by high speed airflow spurted from the nozzle at the first time, then drawn by a suction cap. Base on CFD theory and shear stress transport (SST)k-ω mode, numerical simulation software CFX is used to study the compound fluid field formed by jet stream sprayed from the nozzle and strip transmitting air stream. Therefore , effect of dust cleared away and collected can be predicted. Furthermore the optimal nozzle degree can be found. The simulating results at different nozzle degrees shows that the optimal nozzle degree is about 10°. Under these conditions, the compound fluid field can control and collect dusts most effectively.
