Abstract

Experimental research on the performance of recycled concrete intensified by highly active nanoSiO2 and nano-mineral admixture was carried out, mainly on the mechanical properties, the anti-chloride ion permeability and the impermeability of recycled concrete affected by highly active nanoSiO2 and nanomineral admixture. Results show that the compressive strength of recycled concrete increased obviously with nano-mineral admixture, 16.8% at 14 days and 16. 3% at 2.8 days. Nano-mineral admixture mixed with 1% nanoSiO2 showed a good composite effect. The compressive strength of recycled concrete increased greatly, especially for the late strength, about 18% at 28 days. The anti-chloride ion permeability of recycled concrete improved significantly as the total electric flux reduced by 35 %. The impermeability of recycled concrete also significantly improved as the impermeability grade was higher than P10.
