Effect of Modification on the Microstructure and Properties of Lead-free Brass with High Zinc Content
摘要
Abstract
A lead-free brass with high equivalent content of zinc was prepared with ordinary casting method. The microstructure and mechanical properties of the brass was studied. The experiment results showed that with modifier additions the γ phase is changed from the large flower-like into a small dot in the casting and it is further refined and more dispersed after heat treatment. The mechanical properties and machining cutting of the tested alloy close to that of HPb59-1.关键词
