Abstract
Objective To explore the effects and securities of amniotic membrane transplantation with trabeculectomy and 5 FU for the treatment of primary glaucoma. Methods Amniotic membrane transplantation with trabeculectomy and 5 FU were used to treatment primary glau coma chamber depth, and the complications of operation were studied on 28 cases (32 eyes) of primary glaucoma. All the cases were followed-up for 6-24 months. The IOP,visual acuity,filtering bleb anterior chamber depth,and the complications of operation were studied. Results The IOP was decreased from (39.14±5.67)mm Hg preoperatively to (16.28±3.18) mm Hg postoperatively(P＜0.01). The total success rate was 96.9 ％. 29 eyes (91％) maintained functional filtering bleb, visual decline didn't appear in all cases, the complications included shallow anterior chamber (1 eyes), early postoperative hypotony (2 eyes) and corneal edema(5 eyes), which returned to normal after I week of operation. Conclusion Amniotic membrane transplanta tion with trabeculectomy and 5-FU for the treatment of primary glaucoma can effectively inhibit the scar formation,decrease complications and increase the success rate considerably. The method is safe and effective in the management of primary glaucoma.关键词
