摘要

Abstract

Smart power grid is required to achieve the instant transfer and wide share of information. To realize the purpose, a method of wireless access based on a new 3G standard-WiMax is introduced. The basic communication architecture of the grid is proposed in terms of the characteristics of smart grid. According to the architecture and features of WiMax, a corresponding WiMax communication program is put forward, which can facilitate the transfer and share of information through wireless access and hierarchical management mode, and drastically promote the automation and interaction of the grid. Examples of application of this method in electricity system are analyzed. The prospect and some anticipated problems are discussed.
