摘要

Abstract

A novel tree-shaped fractal UWB antenna is proposed. By using fractal slot, the CPW fed antennas has a wider bandwidth. Retum loss, radiation patterns and gain of the antenna are investigated.Two-iterative fraetal antenna is fabncated and measured. Measured results show that the bandwidth covers from 3. 5 CHz to 8 GHz and the relative bandwidth is 70%.Simulation results and the measure results agree with each other well. Thus this antenna can be widely used in compact structure and UWB antenna design.
