Abstract
The ranging bctween nobes is critical for the nobe positioning in the wireless sensor network.In the deploymcnt of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) , nodes are randomly dispensed, so the location information of the node can not be obtaincd in advance.The TOF (time of flight) ranging method based on narrowband RF is proposed to estimate the distance between the two nodes.However, it is not widely used in the localization technology of WSNs.TOF ranging experiment was carried out with a Jennic5148 platform in different environments.The results show that the accuracy of the ranging method based on RF TOF is ± 4 m when the measuring distance is 100 m outdoors, and ±2 m when the measuring distance is 10 m indoors.关键词
