摘要

Abstract

With the increasing capacity of modern power systems and communications systems, as an important part of DC battery back-up power supply, the higher reliability and stability of battery is required. For these stations of self-service watch and engine rooms of standby DC power, the routine monitoring and maintenance for battery is necessary. At some important substations, battery online-monitoring device is configured for real-time monitoring battery status. The battery's internal resistance is an important electrical parameter reflecting the battery performance. The internal resistance model of battery, impedance analysis, the measurement methods and the theory of VRLA battery's internal resistance was described, which provided a basis for further study to judge the performance of batteries. Finally, the future trends of battery online-monitoring were prospected and predicted.
