针刺对2型糖尿病患者胰岛素敏感的影响
Effect of acupuncture on insulin resistance in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of acupuncture on insulin resistance in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods Eighty patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were divided randomly into acupuncture group and glibenclamide group. The patients in acupuncture group were treated with acupuncture according to pattern of syndrome, while the patients in glibenclamide group were given the corresponding doses of glibenclamide according to the level of blood sugar. Levels of fasting blood sugar ( FPG ), glycosylated hemoglobin ( GHb ),fasting insulin ( FINS ) were detected, and body mass index ( BMI ), insulin sensitivity index ( ISI ), homeostasis model assessment-insulin resistance ( HOMA-IR ) were calculated before and after 12 week treatment. Results Weight, BMI, FPG, GHb,FINS were significantly higher than the normal range both in acupuncture group and glibenclamide group before treatment, and there was no significant deviation between acupuncture group and glibenclamide group( P > 0.05 ). After treatment for 12 weeks, FPG, GHb and HOMA-IR decreased significantly( P < 0.01 ), ISI increased significantly in both acupuncture group and glibenclamide group. Weight,BMI, FINS decreased significantly in acupuncture group ( P < 0.01 ), while FINS increased to some extent and no significant changes of weight and BMI were found in glibenclamide group. There was no significant deviation in FPG and GHb between acupuncture group and glibenclamide group after treatment( P > 0.05 ), but the level of FINS in acupuncture group was lower than in glibenclamide group( P <0.01 ). Conclusion Acupuncture can improve insulin resistance and raise the insulin sensitivity index in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus by decreasing BMI,FPG, GHb, FINS.关键词
