摘要
Abstract
Objective To study the effects of hemodialysis on the heart's construction and funcion in elderly renal failure patients. Methods Thirty - six patients on hemodialysis were selected to do echocardiography before and after three months of hemodialysis. Their LVDd, IVST, LVPWT, FS, EF and E/A were compared. Results The episode of LVDs, IVST, LVPWT,and left ventricle hypertrophy in elderly patients after hemodialysis were not notably higher than before( P ＞ 0. 05 ). But FS( 20.63 ± 9.51 vs 26.59 ±11.80) and EF (42.27 ± 12.16 vs 56.64 ± 13.10) were significantly increased. E/A ( 1.72 ± 0.29 vs 0.87 ± 0. 31 ) were significantly decreased. Conclusions Hemodialysis improves the cardiac function in elderly renal failure patients.关键词
