Effect of feeding frequency on the NH(+4)-N level in the recirculating aquaculture system

Abstract
Under the condition of the same feeding weight, the experiment was carried on the feeding frequency of 3 times per day, 6 times per day and 8 times per day to the NH4+-N level and biofilter's removing ratio.The result shows that, with the increase of feeding frequency, although the coefficient of variation decreased from 14.9% to 0, the general average of NH4+ -N level in the culture water almost kept still.With the increase of feeding frequency, the NH4+-N removing ratio of biofilter increased significantly from 67.02% to 85.71% after feeding.Above all, 8 times per day feeding frequency makes the NH4+-N level of recirculating aquaculture water keep stiller, and NH4+-Nremoving ratio of biofilter grows higher.关键词
