Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of autologous bone marrow mononuclear cell transplantation for chronic lower extremity ischemic disease. Methods Thirteen patients from our department between Oct 2008 to Oct 2010 who suffered from chronic lower limb ischemia were selected, Bone marrows were collected and bone marrow mononuclear cells were acquired by density centrifugation. Bone marrow mononuclear cells were transplanted by local multi - point injection to the affected limbs. After 2 months, leg pain, cold, numbness, intermittent claudication, percutaneous oxygen pressure, ankle brachial index, ulcer area of these patients were detected. Results Transplantation was all completed successfully for the 13 patients. After 2 months, the improvement rate of limb pain was 87.5 ％, the improvement rate of cold sense was 86.4 ％, the improvement rate of numbness was 72.2％ and the improvement rate of intermittent claudication was 66.7 ％. Transcutaneous oxygen pressure before transplantation was (20.9 ± 4.4) mmHg, 2 months after the transplantation was ( 36.8 ± 7.5) mmHg, the improvement rate was 87.5 ％, ankle brachial index before transplantation was 0.34 ± 0.14, 2 months after transplantation was 0.57 ±0.17, the improvement rate was 83.3％. And the ulcer improvement rate was 80％. Conclusion Autologous bone marrow mononuclear cell transplantation for chronic lower limb ischemia is safe and effective.关键词
