Inhibition Effect of Different Trace and Secondary Elements on Scab of Cucurbits and their Effect on Enzyme Activities of Cucumber Plants

Abstract
[ Objective ] The control effect of trace and secondary elements on scab of cucurbits and their effects on enzyme activities of cucumber plants were explored. [ Method ] Indoor antifungal experiment and pot test was carried out to study the control effect of different trace and secondary elements on scab of cucurbits; after trace and secondary element compounds were sprayed for 7 d, soluble protein, malondialdehyde, peroxidase and SOD activity of cucumber leaves during seedling stage was simultaneously detected. [ Result ]Three trace elements all had certain inhibition effects on scab of cucurbits, the effect of calcium chloride treatment was the most significant, while the control efficiency reached 66.9%; the control effect of boric acid and zinc sulfate treatment were 54.6% and 24.1%. When cucumber plants were infected byscab of cucurbits, the application of different trace and secondary elements all could effectively reduce MDA content in cucumber leaves, zinc and boron treatment could significantly inprove the protein content in cucumber plants, zinc and calcium treatment could induce POD and SOD activity in cucumber plants increase, thereby slowing the damage level of the cell membrane to improve the resistance of cucumber plants against scab of cucurbits. [ Conclusion ] The results provided the theoretical basis for practical application and research on resistance mechanism of using trace and secondary elements to control scab of cucurbits.关键词
