Effect of Fabrication Conditions on Properties ofYAG:Ce3+ Phosphors by Microwave Synthesis

Abstract
Yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) phosphors doped by Si4+ ions were synthesized by microwave irradiation under different calcining temperatures and atmospheres. The effect of fabrication conditions on the properties was discussed. The results show that the calcination temperature and atmosphere have important effect on the luminescent properties of phosphors, and the intensity of emission spectra increases with increasing the calcination temperature under the H2/N2 atmosphere. Compared to the pure YAG:Ce3+,the emission spectra of Si4+ doped YAG:Ce3+ phosphor becomes widener and its intensity increases.关键词
