Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To establish drug safety monitoring system in PIVAS of our hospital, and to improve rational use of drugs. METHODS: Through collecting medication of PIVAS in our hospital from Nov. 2008 to Nov. 2009, the safety index of antitumor drugs in PIVAS was obtained and summarized into available information. PIVAS drug safety monitoring system was established and operated in PIVAS of our hospital and the effect of it was evaluated. RESULTS: The operation of PIVAS safe medication monitoring system decreased the number of irrationality medical orders, corrected unreasonable 138 medical orders and improved the ability of pharmacists on examining prescription. CONCLUSION: The system contributes to the rational use of drugs,and ensures safe, effective and standardized medication in our PIVAS, deserving to be recommended.关键词
