间叶软骨肉瘤10例临床病理分析

Abstract
Purpose To study the clinicopathologic and radiologic features of mesenchymal chondrosarcoma. and to emphasize its diagnosis and differential diagnosis. Methods Ten cases of mesenchymal chondrosarcoma( including biopsy and surgical specimens )were reviewed. Their clinical features, radiologic: appearance and pathologic findings were analyzed. Immunophenotype was studied by immunohistochemical staining( EnVision method ). Results The mean age of patients was 28. 4 years. The male-to-female ratio was 8 ∶ 2.The most common sites of involvement were pelvis, femur and humerus. which were consistent with the conventional chondrosarcoma.Radiologically, they were lytic lesions with calcification. Histologically , they were composed of plentiful primitive small cells and relatively benign cartilaginous component. There were high probability of missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis when diagnosed by one point biopsy before operation. Conclusions Mesenchymal chondrosarcoma is a rare special type of chonclrosarcoma with poor prognosis , which has different clinicopathologic features compared to conventional chondrosarcoma and other high grade small cell malignant tumors.关键词
