Abstract
Objective To understand self-care agency and life quality of permanent colostomy patients after operation and to discover the correlations between the two.Methods 90 patients were surveyed one month after the operation about their self-care agency and life quality with the Exercise of Self-Care Agency Scale and Quality of Life Questionnaire-Core30.The result was analyzed with Pearson correlation analysis.Results 67％ of colostomy patients were with a middle level of self-care agency and their level of life quality was lower than that was recormmended in European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (P＜0.01); it also showed that self-care agency was positively correlated with all items of :function dirnensions and negatively correlated with life quality's symptom item except self-care sense dimension.Conclusion Colostomy patient's self-care agency is closely related to their quality of life, which indicates that more attention should be paid to increase their self-care knowledge and skills, improve their self-care agency so as to improve their quality of life.关键词
