摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of ganglioside ( CM1 ) on the prognosis of neuron - specific enolase ( NSE ) positive intrauterine growth retardation ( IUGR ) in early comprehensive intervention. Methods Umbilical cord blood was collected instantly at expulsion in newborns born in our hospital from January 2005 to Octoher 2007. Enzyme - linked immunosorhent assay ( ELISA ) was used to detect NSE level. Fifty - four newborns with elevated NSE were divided into groups intervention ( n = 29 . receiving GM1 ) and control ( n = 25 ). Both groups received early intervention and rehabilitation and intervention group given additional GM1 , 20 mg/d, iv , 3 -6 courses of treatment ( 10 d as a course of treatment ). Neonatal behavioral neurological assessment ( NBNA ) was used to score during neonatal period , and post - interventional mental development index ( MPl ) and psychomotor development index ( PDE ) were evaluated at ages of years 1 , 2. Results MDI and PDI were significantly higher in intervention group than in control at ages of years 1 , 2 ( P <0. 01 ). The occurrence of sequela was 6. 8% in intervention group, 25. 2% in control, the difference was significant ( P < 0. 05 ). Conclusion NSE level is related to hrain injuries. Early GM1 intervention can promote intelligence development, prevent and reduce neurological sequela and improve prognoses of IUGR.关键词
